SERVICES

Everyone facing cancer has their own set of challenges.  Our advocates meet with every individual and establish a care plan based on their needs.  Many times people will find we are able to offer services they didn't even know that they needed, all free of charge.  

Cancer Services of Grant County provides services to anyone who lives, works, or is being treated in Grant County, Indiana.

Financial Assistance
Cancer is expensive. We understand. We assist with the cost of medications and transportation, help negotiate medical bills, file assistance applications, etc.

Patient Navigation 
Everyone’s cancer journey is challenging. Our advocates help to educate, explain, and guide you throughout your journey.

Transportation
We provide gas vouchers and have volunteer drivers who will pick you up and take you to your cancer related medical appointments.

FREE Mammograms 
The BESS Program provides free mammograms and further diagnostics when needed.

The Perfect Fit Boutique
Our certified fitters fit women with breast prosthetics and bras following mastectomy.  Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance is accepted.  

Education
Educational materials are available to help you understand more about your illness. Additionally, we provide an outreach program that provides education in schools, at health fairs, and other community events.

Equipment and Supplies 
We have home healthcare equipment & supplies for your use during your journey, including hundreds of wigs, hats, and scarves for your use. Incontinence supplies, ostomy supplies, and other needed supplies are available.

Other
Based on the initial intake process with new clients our advocates will assess other needs and facilitate as needed.
